I drew some basic outlines for the fairy card, I didn't
want to make it too complicated because when the
cards are cut out I want them to be stable and free
standing so I needed a solid shape to work with.
I then took them into Illustrator and started adding
colour to the designs.
I have worked with mainly different pastel colours, for fairies this seemed
to be the best colour palate, I am now going to look at how I am going to print
them. I am going to try printing onto card and also onto vinyl that would be
stuck onto wood.
