Sara Fanelli is one of my favourite illustrators, her books are so lovely, The
Onions Great Escape is interactive, asking the readers to save the onion
from the fry put pushing it out by its perforated edges out of the book.
She uses a mix of illustration and collage within her work, which is something
I want to look into incorporating within my work, as well as interactivity within
a book. In the Onions big fry the reader is also encouraged and asked to write
in the book and answer questions throughout.
